The ‘Molina’ was travelling from Le Havre for Swansea in ballast in a convoy when she was torpedoed by UB-35. She was struck at her stern and started to sink quickly. All of her crew took to the ships boats and were later picked up by a passing steamer.

The wreck lies upright, but her after end is mostly flat. Her propeller has been salvaged, minus 2 blades. The highest part of the wreck is her triple expansion engine and boilers.
